People ask why leave, it’s so beautiful? We bought this stunning home as a lifestyle change and to be closer to Northam for our work, but I think Scott was more attracted to having room for his toys. We will be sad to leave this perfect 2 hectare site just on the fringe of town, the location is ideal. You can walk to the airstrip, to the golf club and the kids could even short cut through to the school.

We have been so happy in the huge 4 bed 2 bath family residence, it is in in a prime elevated position overlooking the valley down to the airstrip it is just perfect. The boys have loved the two big powered sheds (one with a W/C) for all of their gear… It was perfect for celebrations, tents on the lawns, cars off the road on the big drive and a wc in the shed. We will miss Australia day up here.

I have had so much fun with the greenhouse for my seedlings and the shade house for my veggies. You will have 5 water tanks so you should not run out of water, there is retic for the gardens and best of all my pride and joy my 157 newly fruiting olives (we pressed 20ltrs of extra virgin oil last year and they will grow bigger and produce more each year). The home itself was built about 1998 and is immaculate from the huge entrance to the massive rear deck. Imagine yourself in the spa looking out over the valley as the sun sets before preparing a BBQ feast for your friends on the rear deck. In the morning you can watch the birds in native garden while breakfast sizzles in the big gas kitchen with its big pantry, glass splash backs and lovely cabinets. (Enjoy it out on the deck, it is a great way to start your day.) You will love your huge living room it overlooks the rear deck, there is a massive games room being used as a huge office suite to accommodate up to 8 potential work stations. All of the bedrooms are huge. The master and ensuite are stunning and the main bathroom is wheelchair friendly if required. If you just want room for kids to run and play, want to run a business from home (possible B and B) or just want to kick back and relax in style you can’t afford to miss this. Sadly work and study has taken all the boys back to the city, and although we will be back regularly we have to move. So it is with a tear we will hand our lovely home to the next family to love it.
